Thanks Richard, a very clear point and well made.

I know of people who are "prayer warriors" yet they don't do anything to help anyone, but think they are doing something for God!

Prayer is to enable us to do the work of God, to do his Will for us and for others so that we may indeed let our light shine to glorify God.

Being in our Heavenly fathers presence and spending time communing with Him unceasingly in prayer is indeed incredibly important, but certainly not at the expense of not doing what He asks of us in carrying out Gods will & purposes and in loving Him and loving others proactively. We would rather cut off prayer if we are in the middle of praying if we hear someone is in need of our help, but ultimately we are permanently connected through and by the Spirit to our father in heaven and we speak with Him consulting Him and being holy Spirit guided & led empowered and enabled all throughout the day in whatever we are doing to fulfill effectively what it is that is asked of us.
