thanks Richard, excellent post. we are told to: Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven.

(Mat 5:16)

If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And we have this commandment from Him, that he who loves God should love his brother also. (1John 4:20-21)

Very important post may we always be doers of God's word and not hearers only. To meet others needs through practical deeds not just through words & to indeed shine forth Jesus to others in practice, in all we think say and do in all our interactions and in living out loving our God with our whole mind our whole heart & with all our strength and loving our neighbours as ourselves and treating others as we would like to be treated. And in loving our brothers and sisters by laying down our lives fir them. Otherwise faith without works is dead meaningless and fruitless. Shameful for anyone to bear Jesus' name and who live only for self, we are ultimately here to do our father's will and carry out His purposes as instructed and commanded in our daily lives. This is where I can begin accusing & beating myself up though that I don't do enough in being able to help and support others in exemplifying the selfless sacrificial crucified life of Jesus, in giving that refreshing cup of water to the least. I know I am only one person and can only do so much with what Heavenly father has blessed and given to me in the first place so He can utilise my vessel to gift share and bless others with Himself through to others through His accomplishing power & Spirit and as He leads too.
